We made an early trip to Lake Powell this year--and drove through a blizzard to get there. Needless to say, we were questioning our sanity as we pulled the boat up over the summit and it was covered in the white stuff. But, what a great trip we had with the Thomson's--and we had some warm sunshine while we were there too! The water was cool, but that didn't prevent all the kids from water skiing or knee boarding. Lauren and Aubrey visited and giggled and did one another's hair, Sally cooked delicious chili burritos, Landon teased us all, and Jessica learned to slalom ski! My favorite part was the look on Aubrey's face when Scott told her to take over and drive the boat--that girl is a maniac! What a great trip, and a great way to start the summer!
