Sometimes us old people just need to feel a little bit sneaky.... Sally (Jessica's Mom) invited Landon to go with their family to Southern California for the weekend, he was very excited! The catch? She wanted to keep it a surprise from Jessica. Landon is a great secret keeper, and so for several weeks, they kept their plans quiet... On Thursday night, Landon went over to Jessica's house to say good bye and tell her to have a great trip. But on Friday morning, Landon got up extra early, I took him to the airport, and he got through security and hid out at a nearby gate until Jessica's family boarded the plane. As soon as they were all settled in their seats, Landon boarded the plane and took the empty seat right next to Jessica's! I think the look on her face was genuine surprise, don't you?
