Last weekend, Kathie and I decided to take the boys on a little over night camping trip to do a bit of hiking and stay overnight in a cute little cabin we rented at Big Mountain.
The boys were all ready with their new nets to catch a butterfly. Mom actually managed to snag one, but then the boys decided they'd rather let it go.
Gavin loved playing with his new "tools," which were a little explorer set on a carabiner that included a brush, mirror, magnet, shovel, tweezers and a whistle.
Griffin's favorite things to do were play on the playground with a slide he could climb up and go down all by himself, and a little picnic we had by the creek.
In the evening, we sat on a swing on the porch of our cabin and read book after book after book as the sun went down.
I love these little guys!
