Family Fireside

A few weeks ago, my niece, Sindee, and her daughter Kendyl, came and presented photos and stories about their experiences in South Africa in December. Before they left, Sindee and Kendyl spent weeks raising money to donate to the Tembisa Tots Bulamahlo Orphanage.

Through their efforts, they were able to provide many needed items to the orphanage, and continue to provide money for "mama" to buy food every week for the kids there. Sindee's next goal is to replace the roof on one of the buildings.


Besides being an inspiring and touching experience to hear Sindee's stories, it was also a great opportunity to have many of the Savage family together.

We had a chance to catch up and learn what everyone has been up to!

All the kids are sure growing up!
