USC v. Utah Football - My Three Sons!

Saturday, September 10th, Jim, Tyler, Landon and I flew to Southern California to attend the USC V. Utah PAC-12 inaugural football game. The weather was incredible, the venue was impressive and in spite of being in the end-zone, the seats were very good.
Although we all felt guilty leaving the girls behind in Salt Lake, we hope they enjoyed their day shopping with the three grandbabies.
Although the outcome of the game wasn't what we hoped for, it was a great experience. Both teams made multiple mistakes that kept it close right to the end. Once again, sitting nearby were kendall Peterson and family. We also noticed that there were a lot of Utah fans on the flight from SLC to LAX.
Gary and Paul Aston (Tyler's father-in-law and brother-in-law) met us in the parking lot before the game and introduced us to the Coliseum. We walked completely around the statium stopping and enjoying some of the pre-game activities including a live broadcast from ESPN 710 Radio doing an interview with the USC Athletic Director.
There were 73,000+ in attendance at the game.
In October, Landon will fly to Baltimore to visit Jim and Kathie. Jim has bought tickets to the Utah v. Pitt game, so Jim and Kathie will drive up to the game.
Thank you to our wives (and Landon's future wife) for letting us boys enjoy a day of football.
