The Elements of Fun -- Earth

The next activities we did were centered around the element EARTH. We all dressed in earth-tones to head out early for family pictures.

We ended up avoiding the intended wheeler farm location, because the morning we were scheduled to go there, a JDFR walk/run was in progress. That may have ended up being a good decision, because Gavin is deathly afraid of free roaming animals. Instead, we spent the morning at Murray Park, and our fabulous photographer, Trina Knudsen, came to document our fun and crazy antics.

We'll post more family photos after we get our order, but in the meantime, a few more crazy photos were posted in a previous blog entry.

Scott and I decided it had been years since either of us had been to see the Bingham Copper Mine. Since Tyler is now supported by Kennecott/Rio Tinto, we decided to take a field trip out to see the mine.

We were absolutely amazed by the number of tourists and tour buses there, and determined that the Copper Mine is still a great attraction for visitors.

We loved getting "down to earth" with our family!
