Hangin' Out with the Girls

In February, I got to take a break from this nasty winter weather and hang out in Florida for about a week with some of my girlfriends. People often ask, "What do you girls do when you go on these getaways?" Welllllll....


We just hang out together...

Find restaurants with delicious food, like Bahama Breeze, Mythos, and Seasons 52.

We try to visit or attend a temple if our destination has one nearby. The Orlando Temple was beautiful!

This year, we stayed in a beautiful 7-bedroom villa about 5 minutes away from all the Orlando attractions--it was nice to hang out, play trivia games, watch movies, sit by the pool....

and do crafts.

Jody brought the stuff to make these darling drink holders.

We went on an airboat ride on the St. Johns River, and saw some great wildlife, including an aligator, a bald eagle, and some obnoxious teenagers.

Of course, we can always depend on Kathy to "get her flirt on" with the guys...

We enjoyed pumpkin juice, butter beer, fish and chips and the whole ambiance of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios.


We did a little sight-seeing....



We soaked up a little sunshine



Went on a couple of wild rides,

and slept in and relaxed.
