Our Sweet Papa

Tonight, our sweet Papa finished his work here on earth, and moved on to a better place. He stayed here long enough to allow children, grand children and great-grand children come and express their love to him. During the past week as he lay in his bed at home, each of us were able to share quiet moments, special thoughts, and to witness tender experiences as each family member came to say goodbye. Then, surrounded by all five of his children who held his hands, he finally slipped beyond us. Tonight, we are celebrating his joyous reunion with his eternal companion, our Nana, as well as his own mother (who died 71 years ago today), his father and his sisters. His passing leaves a big hole in our hearts and in our family, but we are so grateful for the knowledge that we will be with him again some day. Good bye papa....

What tender memories you must have of your father and mother. You are so lucky to have lived so close to them for so long. Thanks so much for sharing your parents with all of us. Lots of love!
