am·bas·sa·dor : a diplomatic agent of the highest rank; an authorized representative or messenger. This evening, Lauren was presented by Mayor Russ Wall, and approved by the Taylorsville City Council to be one of five youth Ambassadors representing the city for the next year. This year, all of the appointees were girls! Lauren's platform is to do a service project for the Sanderson Deaf Center, and the other Ambassadors also had wonderful service projects planned. It sounds like they'll all look forward to a busy year of service, activities, ribbon cuttings, and other duties as they perform their responsbilities and represent the city's youth.
