Parenting 101. Okay, here's what happens when you go on too many vacations in a summer: The teenager isn't home enough to really justify seeking employment, because by the time they go to Baltimore, Girls Camp, Youth Conference, Jackson, Bear Lake, Friends Road Trip, St. George...well....you get the picture... There simply isn't enough time left in the summer to work. But, there is enough time to do some projects, like, say....repaint the lawn mower! Lauren and her cousin Hailey took the retired lawnmower and decided to convert the ol' John Deere to a "Bee Mobile," complete with black and yellow stripes, pretty flowers on the brake handle, and googly eyes and sparkly lips on the hood. It is actually a quite attractive work of art... Personally, I think the girls should submit these pictures to John Deere to see if maybe they could GET A JOB NEXT SUMMER, perhaps as Head Designers of the Custom Lawn Mower Division?????

Nice...but what in the world are you going to do with that?
If only I could have mowed the lawn all those years with a lawnmower that looked half as cool.
