She's here! After a few tense days of kidney stones and a couple of false starts, Kate Juline Gwilliam arrived...just one day shy of my birthday. And I couldn't have asked for a better present. She is sweet and beautiful and perfect.
Besides being a birthday baby and sharing my middle name, it's been so special to have Kate come home to our house, since Ty and Amy are going to be with us for a few more weeks before they move to their new place.
Kate has a mass of soft black hair that begs to be stroked....it almost reminds me of petting a cat! So....Kate's special granddaughter nick name will be.....Kitten!
We love our little Kitty Kate already!
