The "Hotties" aren't making their annual trip until this fall, but we couldn't wait that long to go play for a few days. We enjoyed going to Tuacahn so much last year, we decided to take a quick mini-trip to St. George to see Andrew Lloyd Weber's Starlight Express, and Disney's Mary Poppins. Both were excellent and entertaining. Of course, we waited until it was dang hot to go, but it turned out tolerable, as long as the other girls let me manage the thermostat. We stayed indoors during the day, and spent much time in Linda's beautiful home, exchanging gifts, making crafts, playing trivia, talking, and laughing. We also went to Swig (twice), ate at the Pizza Factory and Peppers Cantina, made two trips to Walmart, one trip to JoAnne's and attended the Farmer's market for crepes and more shopping. Somehow, we found tons of stuff we simply couldn't live without. The car was full on the way down, and we doubled our cargo going back, but still managed to fit it all in (our husbands would have been impressed)! I love "girlfriend therapy," and I'm so glad to have these ladies in my life.
