Sweet Griffin recently turned two, and we were excited to get to host a birthday party for him while they are here visiting this week. Right now, anything that has wheels and makes noise is his favorite thing to play with, so his party was a truck themed event.

His birthday cake had a back hoe atop it, and Griff blew out both candles (with a little help from dad). He doesn't like it when people sing "Happy Birthday" and even though we did a great 4 part harmony rendition, he yelled "Stop Singing! Stop Singing" through the entire song!
Both Grandmas gave Griff CAT construction equipment, and the truck, loader, backhoe and dozer doubled as "serving pieces" for his birthday dinner--Chicken and Rice stock piles.
Gavin decorated the table with black asphalt table cloth and yellow tape road stripes, construction worker Salt & Pepper shaker and hard hats.

We can't image Griffin ever going through the Terrible Two's, and love this sweet, snuggly little boy! Happy Birthday Griff!
