Chance of Showers, Part Two

Saturday night, Aunt Heidi hosted a baby shower at her beautiful new home, with the help of other Aunts Sandi and Janet, and of course, Lindsey and Hailey.  When she arrived, Lauren was greeted with a ribbon and a tag to wear:  "Do Not Open Until September 14, 2012"
This cute wreath on the door was made in Claire's nursery colors, and had all kinds of useful baby items attached to it!  Lauren got to take it home at the end of the night!
The food was absolutely delightful, and included this edible work of art...a fruit baby in a cradle!  Darling and Delicious!

Pink was the color of the night, and this yummy pink candy bar was a hit with the little cousins!
 The food bar was beautiful.
People were so very generous to Lauren, and she received so many lovely gifts, they wouldn't all fit in a blog post!  Even with Richie's phenomenal packing skills, he barely got it all to fit in their two vehicles to take it all home!
Lauren received a high chair, exersaucer, bouncer, bathtub, glider and ottoman, lamp, quilts, blankets, toys, books, diapers, wipes, dishes, binkies and  clothes, clothes, clothes.  They couldn't be more prepared for little Claire to arrive!

As always, we try to get a picture of "The Six Chicks" whenever they're together.....we've been doing this for many years now, and they're all just as beautiful as ever.
Kathie prepared a great activity for some of the guests to work on as they visited--a table full of elastic, flowers, beads, bows, feathers, buttons and jewels.  Many of the guests came in and made Claire a cute headband or headband clip.
Look at some of the darling headband clips that the girls made for Claire!

At the end of the night, the young girls got to take home these cute bottles full of candy pacifiers...
And the "older" guests chose this darling grater/zester!
Thanks to all of Lauren's Aunts and Cousins who so generously hosted these wonderful baby showers for Lauren!
