Before the reception began, we were able to enjoy the gorgeous Grand Courtyard for photos and visiting.
The whole Gwilliam and Preece families.
The Gwilliam kids display their high levels of class and maturity.

Bridesmaids Paige, Tarin, Nickie, Hailey, Lauren, Danielle, Amy, and Kathie dressed in Lauren's classy choice of gold and champagne. They were stunning!
Lauren holds cute nephew Gavin, while Richie has his darling niece, Caydence.
One of my favorite parts of the reception were the stunning flowers and elegant centerpieces created by Mark at Every Bloomin' Thing. We all thought he did a great job!
Cute little Gavin in his Tuxedo charmed us all with those bright blue eyes.
The bride and groom (and their parents) had no time to enjoy the food...but we all heard it was delicious, and we were so glad the photographer took some photos so we could see what we missed out on!
Lauren didn't care much about anything else on that evening's menu, except that she wanted a chocolate fountain. And...since she couldn't decide between milk chocolate or white chocolate, we decided to indulge in both.
The guests left with little tins of M&M's in gold and champagne, personalized with Lauren and Richie's picture, their names, and their wedding date.
We were overwhelmed with the huge group of friends and family, neighbors and coworkers, who all came to wish Lauren and Richie well.
It was such a great addition to hire the Rob Bennion Band to entertain the guests with Lauren's favorite genre of music. They included some of her favorite Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin hits, as well other favorites, Fly Me To the Moon, What a Wonderful World, Unforgettable, L-O-V-E, and A Kiss is Just a Kiss.
The only crisis moment was when Lauren arrived and saw that the cake was not even close to what had been ordered. The requested "gold" cake reminded her a little too much like mustard, and the design on the cake was not the pattern it was supposed to be...but after adding the flowers and other embelishments, somehow it turned out beautiful anyway.
Lotsa ladies lined up for the bouquet toss....
But the guys somehow didn't seem as anxious to catch that garter.
Lauren's cousin Lindsey, and Richie's buddy Drew were the lucky recipients!
The evening wound down with a daddy-daughter and mother-son dance
and then a bride and groom first dance....
And finally, the perfect day ended with a sparkler send off through the courtyard as we all lit their way to a "bright" and "sparkling" future together!
