We hope your finals go well, and we hope you will soon be back home to take care of us. Things just haven't been the same since you moved away. Oh, we know you've missed us too, but we think your life has not taken a sad turn like ours. For example, we are not allowed to sleep with your parents, snuggle on their laps while they watch TV, or get groomed and coddled like you used to do for us. Your mom even locked us out for several days during the remodel, and although she made certain we were warm and had plenty of food and water, we were very upset that we weren't allowed to roam freely through the construction project dust and debris. Of all the nerve! Unfortunately, I think the stress and strain of missing you has taken its toll on our appearance.... please do well in finals so you can quickly return home to care for us properly.
