We get to tend little Gavin, and while grandpa is holding him, Gavin decides he is not interested in his binky...so he pulls it out and drops it. On the floor.

So, rather than bend over and pick it up and sanitize and disinfect it, grandpa tips Gavin upside down and holds him close to the floor so he can pick up the binky.

As soon as Gavin gets a grip on it, grandpa rights him again.

Gavin laughed and laughed, and thought it so much fun, that he repeated this process multiple times, each time throwing the binky down, and then getting a big grin on his face as he waited for Grandpa to send him upside down.

We thought this was a great game, but apparently, Gavin's parents did not appreciate it quite as much as we did, since the following day in Relief Society, Gavin got a little bored, and pulled his binky out and threw it. At the lady in front of them.
(Oooops...sorry kids. Grandpa hasn't perfected the rules of this game yet!)

Nice Job! You set the bar high for the rest of us new grandparents!
Grandpa/ma Scott/Heather...as grandparents we get to make up any rules we want with the grandchildren....it's a right of passage. Remember how Jim almost pushed you over the edge as a baby...it is now the grandparent's turn.
