Many of you have asked for photos from Landon, and...well...let's just say that I've posted everything he's sent me. Yep. All ten photos that he's forwarded to us during his entire mission have been put up for display. I've suggested he maybe ramp it up a bit in the photography department, but he says he hasn't got much time for taking pictures. He did send us a couple of special ones this past week. The first one is of he and Elder Gonzalez, the first companion he's had that doesn't tower over him. The second one is the baptism day of Nora, Bryant, and little Jennifer. He loves this family!
The day after their baptism, he got his transfer assignment to go work in
Del Rio, Texas, which is right on the border (
click here to learn more about Del Rio). Del Rio is about 85% Hispanic, and Landon and his companion, Elder Jessup (a dairy farmer from Beaver, Utah) are definitely part of the 7% Caucasian minority. Del Rio is home to Jessica Alba, Judge Roy Bean, and Wolfman Jack.
