Chocolate, Anyone?

We had a fun getaway with Jim and Kathie in Lancaster (Amish Country) and Hershey (Chocolate Country) Pennsylvania last weekend. We wandered through the streets in Lancaster, dodging the Amish horse and buggy drivers--they are speeders! After driving through the pretty countryside there, we spent the evening watching the U vs Michigan game, and going to a movie.

Sunday, we attended church in the Harrisburg Ward, then spent the day touring the Hershey Museum, Chocolate World, and had a nice lunch at the Hotel Hershey.

Monday, we all enjoyed a great trip to the mall where we helped Kathie prepare for her fabulous future figure by buying some, uh...stretchy clothes... (she is MUCH too skinny to use the "M" word already)! After a lovely dinner at the Mt. Washington Tavern--where I finally found Cream Of Crab soup that rivals the She Crab soup we ate in North Carolina!--we said good-bye to the kids for another few months. Scott and I got to spend the next day in Annapolis, wandering the historic streets, taking a cruise on Chesapeake Bay, eating a yummy seafood lunch on the dock, and seeing the Naval Academy, before we caught our flight back home! Thanks, kids, for a great weekend.
