As Landon's departure date approaches, it appears that some of the congregations in San Antonio are getting a little bit concerned . . . obviously, they already know that Elder Gwilliam is on his way to help teach them the truth!!! Seriously though, Landon is getting very anxious to be on his way, and has all of his shopping done and ready to go!
He is still hunting for an alarm clock without a radio in it (anyone?), still needs to pick up his new glasses, and of course, most importantly, needs to buy paper, envelopes, and stamps so he can write regularly to his momma.

If they still have it, I found the best one at Wal-mart. It is digital, runs on only 1 AAA battery (which lasted my entire mission - the battery), and you can push a button to give it indiglo for a few seconds. This comes in handy when you wake up in the middle of the night from a tracting nightmare, only to find out you have less than an hour until tracting really begins. It flips shut too and takes up very little space. The brand is Timex. I would google something about travel alarm clock and timex. Good luck Landon.
