Bravery abounds at our house! The day school ended, Lauren decided it was the day to do the deed, and marched off to the salon to get her hair cut. Not just a trim. Not just adding some layers. Really cut! She arrived at the salon with Mitch's blue teddy bear and a measuring tape.
She's been wanting to donate her ponytail to Locks of Love for a while. Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. Learn more about it here. From top of pony tail to her longest length, she cut off 15 inches! She has the pony tail packaged and ready to donate, and will send it off soon! Good job, Lauren!
